We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical US Generalist (Map) to join our team in Roseville, United States. In this role, you will be responsible for creating, updating, and maintaining various types of maps focused on the United States, utilizing your expertise in cartography and Geographic Information Systems (GIS).

• Create and update high-quality maps of the United States, including political, physical, and thematic maps
• Collect, analyze, and interpret geographic data from various sources
• Utilize GIS software to perform spatial analysis and create custom map products
• Maintain and organize geographic databases and ensure data accuracy
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support mapping needs for different projects
• Stay current with mapping technologies, techniques, and US-specific geographic information
• Assist in developing mapping standards and best practices for the organization
• Provide technical support and guidance on mapping-related inquiries
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of mapping processes and workflows

• Bachelor's degree in Geography, Cartography, GIS, or a related field
• 3+ years of experience in cartography or GIS-related field, with a focus on US mapping
• Proficiency in GIS software, such as ArcGIS or QGIS
• Strong knowledge of cartographic design principles and spatial analysis techniques
• Experience working with US-specific geographic data and understanding of US geography
• Familiarity with remote sensing, satellite imagery, and data management
• Knowledge of US mapping standards and regulations
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and database management
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
• Willingness to stay updated on emerging trends and technologies in the field of cartography and GIS
