Drive the Future of Manufacturing: Leading Industrialization from Concept to Launch.

The Project Manager is the driving force behind turning engineering designs into reality of this new injector generation - 500 Bar. They are responsible and will take ownership of the end-to-end journey—from CAPEX planning and machinery procurement to production floor integration and series production release (rfP), ensuring all deliverables meet stringent cost, quality, and timeline targets. 
Operating at the intersection of international engineering teams, plant leadership, and executive management in full alignment with Bosch Project Management processes and automotive industry regulations (IATF 16949 / AIAG). 

Key Responsibilities & Scope

• Develop project timelines; lead project team, lead tracking meetings to ensure activities are completed on time (MAE design, MAR, PGL, Pre-acceptance, PPAP, rfP, etc.); ensure on-time deliveries of all MAE equipment
• Develop and track capital budget together with capital coordinator and CTG; manage capital expenditures to stay within budget limits and timing
• Achieve cost, timeline, and quality goals for a successful production launch
• Lead project team consisting of engineering, logistics, quality, and technical functions team to meet project deliverables including quality, cost, timing. (cross functional, cross location, international team)
• Mitigate project risks proactively
• Utilize the Bosch Project Management processes, tools, and procedures
• Maintain clear communications and priorities for all interfaces
• Maintain all required documentation per IATF, AIAG and internal regulation

Qualifications:

• BS in a technical field (i.e.: mechanical, electrical, industrial engineering)
• 5+ years experience in a manufacturing production environment
• 2+ years experience in managing customer or relocation projects
• Experience leading a team of direct and indirect associates in a manufacturing environment preferred
• Knowledge and experience in project management methods
• Demonstrated successful manufacturing launch management preferred
• Supplier and vendor management experience preferred
• Good understanding of applied problem-solving methods
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills at all levels of the organization
• Target oriented with high persuasiveness, creativity, and responsibility, and displays an analytical and structured working style
• Ability to travel to our German lead-plant and to selected vendor locations in and outside the US is required (25%)
• Understanding of the MAE procurement process.
• Innovative & collaborative mindset to recommend easy solutions & work with cross-functional teams.
• Knowledge in production processes with understanding of lean tools and Bosch Production Systems (BPS) preferred.
