Job Description
As an Internal Controls Senior Specialist for Global Foreign Trade - Import Operations, you will be part of the Foreign Trade Compliance and Risk Management Team. This team is responsible for managing the internal controls of Bosch's import operations across multiple countries.
In this strategic role, you will have responsibility for driving foreign trade import compliance risk management, coordinating with region-based process experts, and leading internal controls processes using our state-of-the-art IT compliance systems.
Key Responsibilities:
· End-to-End Control Ownership: Take overall responsibility for executing, monitoring, and successfully concluding Foreign Trade's Internal Controls utilizing our in-house IT compliance platforms.
· Global Collaboration & SPOC: Act as the Single Point of Contact (SPOC) within the Centralized FTRACE (Foreign Trade Compliance & Risk Management) team for internal stakeholders in respective regions of Import’s operations.
· Process Standardization: Collaborate closely with regional Process experts to understand, document detailed work instructions, and implement for Internal control process.
· Team Leadership & Enablement: Lead, train and drive the Internal Control Analysts & Operators within the FTRACE team to complete internal control cycles as per the schedule.
· Deviation & Corrective Management: Identify, cluster, and analyze compliance deviations. Coordinate corrective and preventive measures (CAPA) with relevant departments.
· Continuous Improvement: Drive efficiency Improvement of the Internal Control process in close coordination with Regional Process Experts, Governance experts and IT application owner & developers to drive efficiency and tool enhancements.
Qualifications
Educational qualification:
Degree in Supply Chain, International Business, Foreign Trade or Logistics or equivalent qualification.
Experience:
· 8+ years of rich experience within Supply Chain Management or Internal Controls (prior experience collaborating with global teams is highly preferred).
Domain Knowledge: Strong functional knowledge of Foreign Trade regulations, Import Operations, and trade compliance principles.
Mandatory Skills:
· Advanced proficiency in MS Excel.
· Exceptional communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
· Strong cross-cultural competence and experience negotiating/collaborating across global matrix organization.
· Proven analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Preferred & Technical Skills:
· Hands-on proficiency with SAP and Jira.
· Experience with data visualization and analytical tools such as PowerBI and SQL.
· Exposure to, or familiarity with, AI-driven automation tools, Low code and No code Automation.
· Proficiency in a foreign language will be added advantage.
