Job Description
We are looking for a motivated Mechanical Design Engineer with 1–3 years of experience in automation equipment and machine design to support manufacturing automation and cobot integration projects. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing and developing custom mechanical solutions including robotic grippers, End-of-Arm Tooling (EOAT), fixtures, workstations, machine components, and automated production equipment. You will work closely with automation, electrical, controls, and manufacturing teams to deliver innovative, reliable, and cost-effective automation solutions.
Key Roles & Responsibilities
Design and develop mechanical components, assemblies, machines, tooling, jigs, fixtures, and automation equipment.
Create detailed 2D drawings and 3D models using SolidWorks, AutoCAD, or equivalent CAD software.
Prepare manufacturing drawings, BOMs (Bill of Materials), and technical documentation.
Conduct design reviews and ensure designs meet functional, safety, quality, and manufacturability requirements.
Collaborate with production, process, electrical, and automation engineers during project development and implementation.
Support prototype builds, testing, troubleshooting, and design validation activities.
Coordinate with suppliers and vendors for component selection and fabrication.
Improve existing designs to enhance reliability, performance, and cost efficiency.
Participate in project planning and ensure timely completion of assigned tasks.
Ensure compliance with company engineering standards and customer requirements
Qualifications
Educational Background: Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering, or a related field.
Special Skills & Experience:
1–3 years of experience in mechanical design engineering.
Proficiency in SolidWorks, AutoCAD, or similar CAD design software.
Experience creating detailed engineering drawings and GD&T interpretation.
Knowledge of manufacturing processes such as machining and assembly.
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities.
Language Proficiency: Good English communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment.
