Your responsibilities

• Plan, prepare, and execute functional, performance, durability, and end-of-line (EOL) tests on eAxle systems and subcomponents.
• Configure and operate powertrain test benches, measurement equipment, and data acquisition systems.
• Develop and maintain test specifications and test procedures based on customer and system requirements.
• Analyze measurement results and identify deviations, anomalies, and potential root causes.
• Document test results and communicate findings to project stakeholders.
• Support failure investigations and root cause analysis activities together with cross-functional experts.
• Participate in the continuous improvement of testing methods, test automation solutions, and validation processes.
• Support product release activities by providing validation evidence and technical assessments.
• Collaborate closely with international project teams and technical experts across different engineering disciplines.

Education and Experience

• MSc or BSc degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, Vehicle Engineering, or a related technical field.
• Experience in automotive testing, validation, development, or laboratory engineering.
• Understanding of electric drive systems, electric motors, transmissions and/or power electronics.
• Familiarity with measurement equipment and laboratory environments.
• Experience with automotive communication protocols such as CAN is an advantage.
• Knowledge of test automation tools, data analysis software, or scripting languages (e.g., Python, MATLAB) is beneficial.
• Good command of English, both written and spoken.

• Strong team player with excellent communication skills.
• Willingness to learn and continuously develop technical expertise.

Nice to have

• Experience with electric mobility or eDrive systems.
• Knowledge of CANoe, CANape, INCA, ETAS, LabVIEW, dSPACE, MATLAB, or Python.
• Understanding of vehicle-level and powertrain-level testing methodologies.
• German language skills.
