Job Description

  • Analyse and break down customer and system requirements for ADAS vehicle motion features, including lateral and longitudinal control functions.
  • Design, implement, and maintain real-time automotive software for vehicle motion control, driver assistance, and active safety features.
  • Collaborate with system, software, testing, calibration, and project stakeholders to clarify technical topics, resolve blockers, and ensure timely delivery.
  • Develop and support software verification activities such as unit testing, simulation-based testing, SIL/HIL validation, debugging, and defect analysis.
  • Participate in code reviews, design reviews, technical discussions, and continuous improvement activities to ensure robust software quality.
  • Provide effort estimation, technical input, and risk feedback for project planning and release preparation.
  • Ensure compliance with automotive development processes, coding standards, ASPICE expectations, and applicable functional safety practices.
  • Commit to delivery timeline, software quality targets, and reliable performance of ADAS vehicle motion functions.

Qualifications

  • ADAS and vehicle motion: Good understanding of vehicle dynamics, sensors, driver assistance functions, and lateral / longitudinal motion control.
  • Software engineering: Strong C++ programming skills with solid knowledge of SDLC, requirement engineering, debugging, and code quality practices.
  • Testing and validation: Experience with unit testing, software test methodology, gTest, defect analysis, and issue resolution.
  • Tools and process: Experience with Git, GitHub / Bitbucket, Visual Studio Code, configuration management, defect tracking, ASPICE, and Functional Safety practices.
  • Collaboration: Strong communication skills with the ability to work independently, handle multiple stakeholders, and contribute effectively in a project team.
  • Preferred skills: CAN / FlexRay, MATLAB, Python scripting, vehicle-specific physics, and XC-AS PMT know-how.
