Job Description
Your contribution to something big:
As a Hardware Engineer in our eBike team, you will shape the future of the next generation of eBikes by designing and testing electronic hardware for displays, remote controls, and sensors. Your main responsibilities will be:
- Participate in the full product design lifecycle, from requirements analysis and concept creation to feasibility studies and serial production introduction.
- Act as the project team member responsible for hardware design and alignment with production processes.
- Specify automatic testing stations in collaboration with the production plant and approve the dedicated test setups.
- Identify, analyze, and resolve technical issues during both the production ramp-up and series production phases.
- Work within a multidisciplinary, cross-site team, aligning designs, tests, and specifications with other global eBike development locations.
Qualifications
What distinguishes you:
- Education: University degree (Bachelor or Master) in Electronic, Electrical, Mechatronic, or Computer Engineering, or a related discipline.
- Know-how:
- Familiarity with failure analysis and structured problem-solving methodologies.
- Knowledge of assembly and interconnect technologies, such as PCB technologies and soldering processes.
- Knowledge in consumer electronics outdoor products or display/ECU/IoT products is preferred
- Programming skills in C/C++, Python, LabVIEW, TestStand, or data formats like JSON/XML are highly valued.
- Languages: Fluency in English (both spoken and written).
- Working Style and Methods: Systematic, structured, and proactive.
- Personality: Collaborative team player with excellent communication skills.
