Job Description

As part of Bosch’s innovative engineering teams, you will contribute to the development of next-generation automotive systems that enable safe, connected, and intelligent mobility.

In this role, you will design and develop embedded software that ensures reliable communication between advanced vehicle components, from radar and video sensors to automated driving systems.

Your contribution to something big: 

  • Develop and maintain embedded software components focused on automotive network communication (e.g. CAN, FlexRay, Ethernet)
  • Analyze and troubleshoot communication-related issues in complex embedded systems
  • Collaborate closely with product owners, architects, and global teams to align technical solutions with product requirements
  • Contribute to software quality by participating in code reviews, testing, and continuous improvement activities
  • Implement and execute module and integration tests, including hands-on debugging on target hardware
  • Support the creation of clear and structured technical documentation

Qualifications

What distinguishes you:

Education

  • Degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field

Experience

  • Experience in embedded software development (automotive is a plus)

Know-how

  • Proficiency in C (C++ is a plus)
  • Good understanding of microcontrollers and debugging tools
  • Knowledge of automotive communication protocols (CAN, FlexRay, Ethernet)
  • Familiarity with Ethernet/IP-based communication is an advantage
  • Exposure to software testing frameworks (e.g. Google Test) is a plus
  • Understanding of automotive standards (AUTOSAR, ASPICE, ISO 26262) is beneficial

  • Very good English skills (written and spoken)
