Job Description
Bosch Rexroth is seeking an experienced and dedicated Head of Controlling.
We are looking for a true business partner who can collaborate directly with executive leadership, navigate a complex global matrix structure, steering our financial strategy ensuring robust financial compliance with global reporting standards.
The Opportunity:
You'll be a strategic leader, bridging financial performance with business objectives across Australia. This role goes beyond numbers – it's about providing the critical financial intelligence and stakeholder engagement, that fuels our growth and strategic decisions throughout the country. Reporting to regional Commercial Director (overseeing Supply Chain and Finance), mentoring and leading a team of 7 finance and controlling professionals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Strategic Business Partner: Advise the executive management team, providing insightful analysis, forecasts, and recommendations to drive strategic planning and operational excellence with Australia-wide oversight.
- Comprehensive Financial Management (Internal & External):
- Internal Accounting: Oversee budgeting, forecasting, cost control, and performance analysis across all Australian operations, ensuring financial integrity and efficiency.
- External Accounting: Manage timely preparation of external financial statements and ensure compliance with Australian and New Zealand accounting standards (AASB/IFRS).
- Performance Reporting: Develop KPIs and dashboards to monitor financial health and provide actionable insights for all Australian business units.
- Process Optimization: Continuously improve financial systems and processes for enhanced efficiency and data-driven decision-making.
Qualifications
- CPA/CA Qualification (mandatory).
- 7+ years in controlling or senior finance leadership, with strong business partnering experience, ideally in a multinational or industrial setting.
- Proven experience leading and developing finance teams.
- Deep expertise in Australian accounting standards (AASB/IFRS) and financial best practices.
- Exceptional analytical, communication, and strategic thinking skills.
- Proficiency in SAP (FI/CO)
