Job Description

Reporting to the National Sales Manager – Omni Channel, the Key Account Associate is a highly valued member of the Omni Sales Team responsible for supporting Omni Channel sales initiatives and priorities. 

  • Responsible for supporting sales team with all ecom related activities for key customers including new item creation, SAP Inventory feed maintenance, lifecycle management, liaise with eCommerce Support and Brand Advocates at various customers, and partner with the respective KAM for strategy, execution, analysis and semi-annual presentations.  
  • Provide support to the Omni Channel Sales team through the administration and coordination of various programs, including trade shows, sales analysis, sales presentations and co-op advising
  • Align with the Sales team on an execution strategy to improve customer web-site presentation including working directly with customers in executing product and content enhancement and additions
  • Develop a list of product priorities by business unit and assemble the various components of content (copy, illustrations, videos etc.) for distribution to various e-Commerce partners
  • Develop monthly POS summary report for internal distribution to highlight sales and search uplift as well as identify Best Practices across accounts and leverage those insights to increase performance broadly
  • Present POS insights and findings at monthly OMNI POS Meetings
  • Sales Operations data maintenance Rithium, EDI, SAP Customer Material Determination, Online Content Audit and optimization, POS Aggregator Data maintenance (sku creation, data integrity, new product onboarding, etc)
  • Coordinate billing and functional assessment for various support vendors
  • Work with U.S.-based marketing partners to ensure full leverage of established content and as necessary develop enhanced content or modify content towards objectives
  • Support the Unilateral Pricing Policy committee investigating violations and broad market causes and effects
  • Work with the Channel team to implement on-line promotions for each retail partner
  • Partner with the Channel team to identify pricing and promotional opportunities using data-based insights
  • Work with Omni Channel Sales Team to provide administrative tracking, account maintenance, budget reports, and complete customer product creations
  • Prepare analysis and reports to include SKU performance via POS data, field/team communication on accounts, ad schedules, SKU updates, etc.
  • Liaise with Sales and Service agencies to support sales execution and growth
  • Maintain customer price lists (in-store, online-only, special order, etc) to ensure processing accuracy
  • Build and maintain a competitive landscape pricing file to monitor market trends and pressures and recommend actions based off of findings
  • Assist Omni Channel Sales Team with any other issues as they occur, i.e. annual planning, line reviews, sales tracking, etc
  • Track and report OMNI customer contracts, discounts, rebates, co-op marketing funds, and measure effectiveness
  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
  • Valid Driver’s license
  • 2+ years of experience, specifically within eCommerce preferred  
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite, including Outlook, PowerPoint, and Excel
  • SAP experience an asset
  • Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and meet business deadlines in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Strong customer-centric mindset with the ability to balance customer needs with broader business objectives.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with a proactive and collaborative approach to cross-functional engagement.
  • Results-driven with a continuous improvement mindset and a strong sense of ownership and accountability.
  • Highly analytical with the ability to independently identify challenges, develop solutions, and optimize resources to achieve objectives.
  • Strong business acumen with a broad commercial perspective; experience or understanding of the power tools or consumer durables market preferred.
  • Collaborative, Team player with the ability to persuade and “sell” ideas and concepts to gain buy-in and support
