Job Description

A central responsible function for line transfer projects to ensure the successful relocation and setup of production lines or operations. The key responsibilities are:

 

  1. Project Planning: Develop project plans that outline the objectives, scope, timelines, and resources required for the line transfer.
  2. Stakeholder Management: Identify and engage with all relevant stakeholders (Local and Global) to ensure alignment and support throughout the project.
  3. Risk Assessment: Conduct thorough risk assessments to identify potential challenges associated with the transfer, including regulatory, logistical, and cultural factors, and develop mitigation strategies.
  4. Budget Management: Prepare and manage the project budget, ensuring that costs are controlled and that the project remains within financial constraints.
  5. Logistics Coordination: Oversee the logistics of moving equipment and materials, including transportation, customs clearance, and installation at the new location.
  6. Team Leadership: Lead and coordinate cross-functional teams, ensuring effective communication and collaboration among team members from different departments and locations.
  7. Timeline Management: Monitor project timelines and milestones, making adjustments as necessary to keep the project on track and within deadlines.
  8. Quality Assurance: Implement quality control measures to ensure that the transferred line meets the organization's standards and specifications.
  9. Reporting: Provide regular updates to senior management and stakeholders on project progress, challenges, and outcomes.
  10. Post-Transfer Evaluation: Conduct a post-transfer review to assess the success of the project, gather feedback, and identify lessons learned for future projects

 

 

Qualifications

B.E. / B.Tech - Mechanical - PMP with 3 - 6 years of relevant experience 

Preferred Skills / Knowledge :

1. Hand on Experience of Project Management Tools

2. MS Office tools

3. Good command on English Language

4. Presentation & Communication Skills

5. Strong team-building skills with cross-functional collaboration abilities
