Job Description

This role is hybrid remote with 60% monthly in-office presence in Mount Prospect, Illinois. (3 days in office per week). 

At Robert Bosch Tool Corporation, we are focused on driving innovation to solve the needs of our users. To continue our momentum and growth, we are searching for an experienced, passionate Associate Product Manager to join our team and have direct impact with our development teams around the globe. You will be collaborating with business and projects teams from around the world to define and develop our next generation tools based off direct user feedback.

Responsibilities include:

  • Maintaining and further developing schedule and roadmap for innovation projects in North America
  • Assisting in developing next-generation product plans for assigned lines
  • Researching end-user applications and competitive market trends
  • Conducting user research (in field as well as desk research)
  • Supporting market research efforts with the Market Research department
  • Contributing to multi-functional teams to ensure product specifications
  • Supporting Sales and Brand teams with product expertise and insights
  • Assisting in identifying product improvement and cost reduction opportunities
  • Reviewing product performance data to inform lifecycle decisions
  • Managing all aspects of current products, including customer feedback, requirements, and issues

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree required, or 8 years of equivalent professional experience in lieu of a degree
  • Strong project management and time management skills
  • Strong communication skills
  • Effectiveness in managing/working with global, cross-functional teams
  • Ability to manage product profitability and commercial success (own the business case)

The U.S. base salary range for this full-time position is $75,000 to $80,000. Within the range, individual pay is determined based on several factors, including, but not limited to, work experience and job knowledge, complexity of the role, job location, etc.
