Bosch first started its operations in Vietnam in 1994 and registered a wholly-owned subsidiary in 2008. According to the business strategy of Bosch in Vietnam, from 1st July 2014 on all business entities were merged into Bosch Vietnam Co. Ltd. with its head office at Ho Chi Minh City plant (HcP) in Dong Nai Province.

HcP has started its belt assembly in a rented building on 1st August 2008 as the assembly plant of Tilburg Plant (TbP). On 14th April 2011, HcP celebrated the inauguration of the new plant (Lth101 with 17,000 sqm), which did not only allow to increase the production depth, but also to facilitate the push belt assembly of this high-tech product. On 3rd July 2012 HcP marked a big milestone by starting to produce the second component (loop-set) for its push belt. Since November 2012, HcP doubled the production floor space and increase the net total floor space up to 56.000 m², and have successfully increased its production capacity and realized a lot of new line SOP’s.

 The AI Specialist will contribute to the design, development, and deployment of industrial AI solutions, working closely with Digital Transformation, IT, and production teams to enable Smart Factory initiatives at Bosch - HcP (Ho Chi Minh City Plant). 

• Designs, develops, and optimizes deep learning solutions including Computer Vision (AOI) and LLM-based systems to enhance quality inspection, knowledge retrieval, and operational intelligence within manufacturing environments.
• Builds predictive analytics and anomaly detection models using manufacturing data to enable early abnormality detection, reduce downtime, and improve yield stability across production processes.
• Architects, deploys, and maintains scalable AI systems across on-premise, edge, or hybrid infrastructures, ensuring secure integration, model monitoring, performance optimization, and alignment with plant KPIs.
• Collaborates with Production, Logistic, Quality and support function teams to translate business challenges into practical AI solutions while contributing to the plant’s long-term Smart Factory roadmap.
• Sustain excellent 24x7 operation of the data eco system as per Service Level Agreement

Education:

Bachelor's or master's degree in computer Science, Data Science or related fields. 

Work experience:

• Minimum 4 years of experience in AI/ML or AI/DL engineering  
• Proven experience deploying AI models into production environments (not only research level)  
• Experience in manufacturing or industrial AI is a strong advantage 

Traits and Skills:

• Strong expertise in deep learning methodologies including Computer Vision, CNNs, Transformers, and industrial AI model optimization using frameworks such as PyTorch or TensorFlow, along with practical experience designing LLM-based systems, RAG pipelines, and AI Agent architectures leveraging transformer libraries, vector databases, and orchestration frameworks for enterprise-scale applications.
• Strong experience in building predictive, anomaly detection, and time-series forecasting models to support manufacturing process monitoring and performance improvement. 
• Solid experience in deploying production-grade AI models using Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD pipelines, and model monitoring tools to ensure scalability and reliability. 
• Strong Python programming skills with experience developing APIs and integrating AI services into enterprise systems using frameworks such as FastAPI or Flask. 
• Proficiency in SQL and data processing techniques, with experience designing data pipelines and working with structured and unstructured industrial datasets. 
• Experience in architecting, productionizing, and optimizing AI models for scalable deployment across heterogeneous environments, ensuring low-latency inference, environment portability, resource efficiency, continuous monitoring, and long-term operational stability.
•  Effective communication in English & Vietnamese (speaking, listening, reading & writing).
