Job Description
The Assembly & Test Operator is responsible for assembling products and performing functional testing using manual test benches. The role ensures that finished products meet quality and performance standards, while actively supporting process improvements and operational changes.
Key Responsibilities
- Assemble components and products according to technical specifications and work instructions
- Prepare and set up manual test benches for testing activities
- Perform functional testing on finished products, ensuring compliance with quality standards
- Identify and report defects or non-conformities, ensuring proper escalation and documentation
- Record test results and maintain accurate production and quality documentation
- Ensure proper use and maintenance of tools, equipment, and test systems
- Collaborate with Quality, Engineering, and Production teams to resolve issues and improve processes
- Support new product introductions, process changes, and industrialization activities
- Contribute to maintaining a safe and organized work environment
Qualifications
Hard Skills:
- Technical diploma or equivalent (mechanical, electrical, or industrial preferred)
- Basic understanding of assembly processes and testing procedures
- Ability to use manual tools and testing equipment
- Basic knowledge of technical drawings and specifications (preferred)
- Familiarity with quality standards and production environments
Soft Skills:
- Attention to detail and reliability
- Teamwork and collaboration
- Problem-solving attitude
- Flexibility and adaptability
- Strong sense of responsibility
