Job Description

  • Contribute to the development of air-to-water heat pump systems within cross-functional engineering teams
  • Define and derive reliability requirements based on product load profiles
  • Drive and moderate quality prevention and product improvement activities (e.g., FMEA, DRBFM, risk assessments) in line with Bosch Engineering System standards
  • Plan, execute and document reliability and validation tests, including assembly of test setups
  • Perform technical and safety reviews throughout the product development lifecycle
  • Support field monitoring activities and problem-solving processes (e.g., 8D methodology), ensuring continuous product improvement

Qualifications

Education

  • University degree in Mechanical Engineering, Physics Engineering or a related field

Experience

  • Experience in product development or technical engineering projects is valued
  • Background in refrigeration systems or applications is a plus

Know-how

  • Solid knowledge of mechanical design, fluid mechanics, thermodynamics and refrigeration
  • Understanding of reliability engineering, statistical methods, material science and component design
  • Familiarity with laboratory and testing tools (e.g., Matlab, LabView) is an advantage
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)

  • Fluent in English (written and spoken)
