Roles & Responsibilities :

We are looking for a Senior SharePoint Migration Consultant with strong hands-on experience in enterprise content migration to Microsoft SharePoint Online. The role involves assessment, planning, execution, and support of migration activities from file shares and legacy repositories into Microsoft 365, ensuring secure, structured, and efficient migration delivery.

Key Responsibilities 

• Execute end-to-end migration activities from Windows file shares, legacy repositories, or on-premises SharePoint environments to Microsoft SharePoint Online.  

• Perform migration assessments, source analysis, and migration readiness checks.  

• Configure and operate SharePoint Migration Tool (SPMT) for bulk and incremental migrations.  

• Validate migrated content including files, folders, metadata, and permissions.  

• Manage SharePoint Online site structures, document libraries, lists, and access controls.  

• Handle identity mapping, user permissions, and security group alignment within Microsoft 365.  

• Develop and execute automation scripts using PowerShell for migration tasks, reporting, and administration.  

• Troubleshoot migration errors, permission issues, and post-migration access problems.  

• Coordinate with stakeholders for migration schedules, validations, and cutover support.  

Technical Requirements 

• Strong understanding of Windows file systems, NTFS permissions, and folder structures  

• Hands-on SharePoint Online administration experience  

• Good knowledge of Microsoft 365 authentication and permission models  

• Experience in migration validation and issue resolution  

• Ability to work independently in customer-facing migration programs  

 Preferred Experience 

• 6-8 years of SharePoint migration/development projects  

• Exposure to enterprise-scale migration program
