Role Overview

The Data Analytics Engineer is responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining data pipelines, transforming raw data into analytical datasets, and delivering dashboards and insights using Power BI. The role ensures reliable data flows, optimized reporting models, and high-quality analytics for business users.

Key Responsibilities

•       Develop and maintain ETL/ELT pipelines using tools such as SQL, SSIS, ADF, or similar.

•       Clean, transform, and model data for reporting and analytics.

•       Design and build interactive Power BI dashboards, reports, and semantic models.

•       Optimize DAX queries, data models, and dataset refresh performance.

•       Work with business stakeholders to gather requirements and convert them into analytical solutions.

•       Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and governance across sources and reports.

•       Integrate data from databases, APIs, cloud storage, and enterprise systems.

•       Monitor data pipelines, troubleshoot failures, and ensure timely refresh cycles.

•       Document ETL processes, data flows, and reporting logic.

Skills & Experience

•       4–6+ years in data analytics, BI development, or ETL engineering.

•       Strong expertise in Power BI, DAX, Power Query (M), and data modeling.

•       Strong SQL skills (joins, CTEs, stored procedures, performance tuning).

•       Experience with ETL/ELT tools: SSIS, ADF, Talend, Informatica, or similar.

•       Understanding of data warehousing concepts: star schema, fact/dim tables.

•       Good knowledge of cloud data platforms (Azure, AWS, GCP) is a plus.

•       Strong analytical mindset and business communication skills.

•       Preferred certifications: Power BI Data Analyst Associate, Azure Data Engineer.

B.E/B.Tech/MCA or Equivalent Degree
