Job Description

We are excited to offer you the opportunity to join our Sustainability team as a Sustainability Graduate!

Job Description The ideal candidate is a skilled, analytical individual who will play a key role in analysing our products' environmental impacts and lead discussions on opportunities for product and process improvements. Your main responsibilities will be:

  • Conduct life-cycle environmental impact analysis of products and processes.
  • Develop product value-chain life-cycle inventories to build our sustainability database, collaborating with product management, R&D, purchasing, manufacturing, logistics and sales. 
  • Create data-driven visualisations to communicate key findings, educating and influencing strategic and operational decisions. 
  • Collaborate with local and international organisation where required, e.g. consultants, EPD providers, etc. 
  • Monitor and respond to evolving regulatory frameworks and customer expectations regarding LCA.

Qualifications

Right To Work: please ensure you have valid Right To Work in the UK status for the duration of the contract term. This is a 2-year fixed term role.

Our ideal candidate must have:

  • Engineering/Environmental Degree: With LCA project experience. •
  • Analytical & Proactive: Strong focus on process and data analysis; adept at identifying risks and opportunities.
  • Collaborative & Influential: Communicative team player passionate about sustainability, able to adapt communication to engage and motivate. Self-motivated, committed to teamwork.
  • LCA Expertise & Tools: Knowledge of LCA standards & modelling software; proficient in Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Results-Oriented: Functions effectively under pressure, target-driven

Our ideal candidate should have:

•           Previous experience or internships in sustainability-related roles is a plus

Contract Duration: 2 years

Working Hours: 39 hours per week – standard working pattern of 08:00 – 17:00 Monday to Thursday and 08:00 – 16:00 Friday with a 1-hour lunchbreak
