Job Description

Your tasks:

FPGA‑Based Development

► Create and refine state‑of‑the‑art FPGA‑based concepts for sensor development within an international team.

► Propose and implement innovative data acquisition architectures and digital signal processing solutions for measurement systems and product development.

► Work with FPGA SoC platforms (e.g., AMD‑Xilinx Zynq, Zynq Ultrascale+) using SystemVerilog and/or VHDL.

Sensor & Measurement System Development

► Develop measurement technologies for various sensors (e.g., acceleration, rotational, pressure sensors).

► Design new measurement concepts and procedures for upcoming products; further develop existing systems.

► Create and program data‑processing algorithms and routines in an object‑oriented environment (e.g., Python, C#, C++).

Integration & Implementation

► Commission and introduce developed procedures, electronics, FPGA solutions, and measurement software.

► Build and test breadboard circuits and measurement setups.

► Deepen MEMS system understanding and apply this knowledge in system development.

Collaboration

► Work closely with development engineers in Hungary and Germany.

► Actively participate in international development projects.

Qualifications

► Completed BSc or preferably MSc degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, Physics, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or similar field.

► Experience with FPGA SoC‑based systems (e.g., AMD‑Xilinx Zynq family).

► Proficiency in SystemVerilog and/or VHDL.

► Solid knowledge of digital signal processing.

► Basic hardware skills and understanding of measurement systems.

► Strong problem‑solving ability and analytical thinking.

► Openness, curiosity, good communication skills, ability to work in a team.

► Good English communication skills (German is an advantage)

 

What gives you further advantages:

► Experience with Xilinx Vivado and TCL scripting.

► Knowledge of Python, Matlab, Shell/Bash, PowerShell.

► Understanding of ARM Cortex‑A architectures and AXI bus.

► Experience in C/C++ and parallel programming, object‑oriented development mindset.

► Experience with embedded Linux systems and toolchains (GCC, Make/CMake).

► Familiarity with Matlab Simulink (Xilinx System Generator).

► Practical experience in measurement setups and prototype circuit building.

► Experience with GIT for software traceability.

► Automotive industry background
