PgP5 Plant is Bosch Group’s newest expansion in Malaysia a semiconductor test site in Batu Kawan Penang. The construction has begun in May 2021 and first series of production to commence in 2023. With the long-term forecasts for growth of semiconductor component quantities, coupled with the front-end production in Bosch’s Dresden facility in Germany, capacity expansion is required for the back-end production, which is the final testing phase of semiconductors and sensors. PgP5 will primarily focus on the final testing of components manufactured at Bosch Automotive Electronics’ fab in Dresden, Germany. The plant will also house R&D and training facilities.

Job Description
We are seeking for an experienced HR Business Partner (HRBP) to join our team. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in HR partnering and strong expertise in Learning & Development (L&D), with the ability to drive people strategies and support business growth.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide guidance and aid to business leaders and managers regarding strategic HR topics, encompassing areas like organizational structure revisions, talent management, competency and career advancement.
- Devise strategies and appraise assessments of training programs, goals, and achievements to ensure alignment with the company's objectives and aims.
- Develop, create, and manage in-house training schemes.
- Plan and execute coaching/mentoring initiatives across varying staff tiers.
- Conduct assessments of training requirements to identify steps needed for enhancing both employee job performance and overall company efficacy.
- Evaluate the efficacy of Learning and Development endeavors and schemes in terms of employee achievements and performance.
- Responsible for the process of Training Needs Analysis (TNA) for all departments and formulate the Annual Training Plan accordingly.
- Supervise and oversee the efficient upkeep of training records, data within the HR system, HRDF claims procedures, and payments to training providers, among other related responsibilities.
- Responsible to HR program related to DEI.
Others:
- Act as a dependable partner and point of contact, offering assistance on HR-related concerns for PgP5. Perform workforce analysis utilizing available data such as: survey results, workforce demographic data, retention statistics etc to identify issues and trends in business and align with peers and SMEs to implement best practices and solutions to identified issues.
- HR Policy and Compliance: Ensuring HR policies and practices align with employment laws and company standards.
- Responsible for internal and external audit for HR scope.
- HR Projects: Leading or participating in HR-related projects and programs to enhance HR processes and overall organizational performance.
- Collaborate and partner with corporate HR functions/HRS/SMEs in regard to compensation, performance management, talent review and talent development programs for PgP5 including follow on actions as needed.
- Undertake any additional duties assigned by superiors as necessary.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Business Management, or a related field.
- Requirements:
- Minimum of 5 years of progressive professional HR experience.
- Proven experience as an HR Business Partner (HRBP) or HR Generalist, preferably within a manufacturing environment.
- Hands-on experience in L&D.
- Strong stakeholder management, communication, advisory and influencing skills
- Thorough understanding and practical application of HR concepts, practices, tools, procedures, and employment laws.
- Demonstrated ability to manage conflict, thrive in a high-energy environment, and perform effectively under pressure.
- Proactive mindset with a desire to continuously improve HR programs through feedback, monitoring, and observation.
- Strong results-orientation and a proven track record of achieving objectives.
- Capability to lead and drive HR initiatives and improvement projects.
