Job Description

Role Summary:

We are seeking an accomplished and visionary IT Infrastructure Solution architect to lead and manage the global delivery of IT Infrastructure services, responsible for a portfolio comprising ~20% of the company’s global business. This leadership role will oversee the end-to-end delivery and operational excellence of critical programs across Infrastructure Management Services (IMS), Cloud Operations, Data Center (DC) & Disaster Recovery (DR) setups, IT Infrastructure Projects, and Network Deployments.

The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in driving delivery performance, ensuring customer satisfaction, managing financials, and enabling team and business growth.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Program & Project Delivery:
    Deliver complex infrastructure programs across geographies, evaluating progress, managing risks and issues, ensuring quality and timely execution, and taking corrective actions as needed.

  • Service Ownership:
    Accountable for the plan, build, deploy, run, and phase-out of infrastructure solutions including cloud platforms (AWS, Azure), on-premise setups, network rollouts, and DC/DR solutions in line with industry best practices.

  • Team Leadership & Talent Development:
    Lead, coach, and develop high-performing delivery teams across locations. Responsible for talent acquisition, performance management, competency development, and succession planning.

  • Technology & Solution Expertise:
    Provide strategic and operational direction across various delivery areas including Cloud Infrastructure Management, Hybrid Infrastructure Setups, Network & Security, and Infrastructure as Code (IaC).
    Experience with Microsoft/Opensource stacks, Azure/AWS cloud platforms, and automation & observability tools is preferred.

  • Budget & Financial Oversight:
    Manage IT budgets related to FTEs, contractors, vendor services, hardware/software lifecycles, and strategic change initiatives. Ensure cost optimization and ROI.

  • Vendor & Partner Management:
    Develop and enhance partnerships with strategic IT service providers to deliver value-added services and ensure SLAs are met or exceeded.

  • Performance Metrics & Governance:
    Implement and manage delivery metrics, utilization, capacity, SLA adherence, incident trends, and budget performance. Drive proactive operational health checks.

  • Customer Engagement & Growth:
    Actively contribute to new customer acquisition and account mining to enable portfolio expansion. Understand customer needs, translate into solutions, and ensure satisfaction.

  • Innovation & IP Creation:
    Champion innovation and capability building by fostering a culture of experimentation, leading initiatives to create Accelerators, Solutions, and Patents that drive differentiation.
     

Qualifications

Key Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related discipline. MBA or relevant certification (e.g., PMP, ITIL, TOGAF, AWS/Azure certifications) is an advantage.

  • Experience: 15–20+ years in IT Infrastructure Services with at least 5+ years in a senior leadership role managing global delivery teams.

  • Proven track record of delivering multi-million-dollar infrastructure programs.

  • Demonstrated experience in managing large-scale Cloud Operations, IMS, and DC/DR environments.

  • Experience working in a global delivery model with cross-functional, multi-location teams.

Preferred Skills:

  • Deep understanding of Cloud (Azure, AWS), Networking, Enterprise Architecture, and ITSM frameworks.

  • Strong stakeholder and customer management skills.

  • Strategic thinker with the ability to align technology delivery to business outcomes.

  • Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational change management skills.
