Job Description
The job holder is responsible for product marketing of Bosch range of Public Address Products, as well as leading pre and post sales support function for the designated geography/customer base. The incumbent should have a strong technical background and relevant experience (min 5 years) from the electronics security and safety industry and Public Address Segement. The candidate shall be proficient with the IP networking technologies, Audio over IP, and integration aspects of PA system with parallel systems. He/She should have been working with an OEM or a large audio distribution / system integration company. The applicant should have an overall work experience of 10 or more years.
Product Marketing
- Work closely with the Product Marketing team and assist in preparing the overall marketing plan for the Bosch range of PA Products2Plan and execute marketing events, roadshows, and participation in trade shows as per the overall marketing plan. This shall include planning the equipment setup, managing and coordinating for demo inventory, coordination with the sales team and respective channel partners to ensure timely execution of the events3To meet key end-customers, consultants, architects and system integrator and introduce Bosch PA solutions and offering
- Plan and execute marketing events, roadshows, and participation in trade shows as per the overall marketing plan. Pre and Post Sales Support
- . Should have a strong technical know-how of Public Address Solutions, installation and related integration topics. The individual should be able to understand the customer/project requirements, and design/propose a solution for different applications like airports, commercial buidings, IT parks, plants and factories, warehouses, sports arena etc. This would require preparing BOMs, estimations, budgetary offers and supporting technical documents for a given project.He / She should be well versed with Dante Audio with hands-on experience from similar projects involving Audio over IP and PA integration with other systems.
- The individual should have a strong hold on AutoCAD and Ease software and be able to prepare acoustic models, acoustic simulations, reports and technical submissions. The product specialist is expected to be an expert in the field of installed audio and guide internal sales team, channel partners and customers on different technical aspects of products, solutions, and the proposed design etc.
- To be able to draft tender specifications for a given requirement during pre-sales stage. Prepare quotations, counter quotations, compliance documents and submissions to support tender cases/projects. This would involve actively meeting the stakeholders like consultants, contractors, system integrators, end customers and participate in pre-bid meetings
- Should be able to plan and provide Proof of Concept (PoC) for key projects to consultants/customer in accordance to a project requirement
- Should possess a good understanding of prevailing competition and work closely with the other team members for mapping the competition, bench-marking products and solutions and preparing and updating SWOT for internal requirement
- Trainings and Competence management - Being a domain expert, the individual would be responsible to train and guide both internal sales team and customers on different product-lines and solutions. The person would be responsible for planning, driving and delivering technical trainings for all the channel partners in accordance to the overall marketing/training plan
- Technical Support - The individual would be required to provide technical support remotely or over the calls to system integrators and channel partners. The individual may be required to travel to the site to guide the SI team and provide the necessary technical support for critical projects/installation and address customer escalations
- Actively travel across the region for the product marketing activities, events, trainings, customer and consultant visits9A team player with strong interpersonal and communication skills
Administration Requirement
- Use of internal tools like CRM to monitor and track projects
- Maintaining and keeping a track of demo inventory
- Maintaining and updating training records and feedback from the customer base
Product Knowledge
- In-depth knowledge of Public Address range of products, the individual is expected to develop himself/herself in to an expert on Bosch PA product lines
- Know-how of third party installation products, integration topics, parallel line of Security Systems and AV products would be an added advantage.
- Should be able to prepare and deliver technical presentations and conduct webinars.
Qualifications
Qualification & Experience
- Minimum 5 years of working experience in similar capacity in PA/Audio industry with an over all work experience of 10 or more years
- Possess a Degree in the discipline of Engineering (IT, Electrical)/ Business/ Audio Engineering.
- Possess good presentation skill and strong technical background in ProSound / ProAudio
- Should have a good hold on AutoCAD and Ease software.
- Recognition by an industry body or reputable association on subjects like Audio Processing, Acoustics, Audio Technology would be considered as an added advantage.
- Proactive, self-motivated and self-independent attitude towards assigned tasks.
