The Split Systems Product Area leader is responsible for leading the Residential Ducted Split Systems segment across the AME region, with full accountability for business performance, product strategy, and cross-functional execution. This role oversees a multi-disciplinary team spanning engineering and product management, driving profitable growth, portfolio optimization, and operational excellence. The position serves as a critical link between product development, procurement strategy, and market execution, ensuring alignment with customer needs, regulatory requirements, and global platform standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the Ducted Residential Split Systems segment across AME with full P&L accountability and ~30 team members across engineering, product management, and project management.  Includes ACs, Heat pumps, Air Handlers, and Coils
• Drive strategic growth, profitability, and transformation of the Ducted Residential Split Systems business through effective portfolio management and operational excellence
• Oversee end-to-end product lifecycle delivery, ensuring quality, safety, and regulatory compliance across multiple product families
• Align global platforms with regional market needs, balancing scalability, localization, and cost competitiveness
• Act as the primary interface between product development and market execution, ensuring alignment with customer needs and competitive dynamics
• Promote agile transformation within the Residential Ducted Split Systems organization
• Owns business and financial performance for the Residential Ducted Split Systems segment, directly influencing Bosch Home Comfort’s revenue and profit
• Shapes portfolio and investment strategies by balancing innovation, cost, and market differentiation
• Holds high decision-making autonomy on resource allocation, pricing, and roadmap prioritization
• Plays a key role in transforming Residential Ducted Split Systems operations toward a fully product-oriented and customer-driven organization

Basic Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Supply Chain, Business, or a related field
• 10+ years of experience in HVAC, manufacturing, consumer products, or a related industry
• 5+ years of leadership experience managing cross-functional teams
• Experience in product lifecycle management, sourcing, or purchasing engineering

Preferred Qualifications:

• Advanced degree (MBA or master’s in engineering or supply chain)
• Experience with agile methodologies and transformation initiatives
• Familiarity with Residential Ducted applications and processes
• Experience working in multinational, cross-cultural environments
• Demonstrated financial acumen, including P&L ownership, cost management, and investment planning
• Experience working with global platforms and regional market adaptation
• Knowledge of regulatory and compliance requirements in HVAC or similar industries
• Proven ability to influence senior stakeholders and drive strategic initiatives
