Job Description
We are seeking a detail-oriented and customer-focused Warranty Specialist 1 to join our team in Monterrey, Mexico. In this role, you will be responsible for processing warranty claims, assisting customers with warranty-related inquiries, and ensuring smooth warranty operations for our organization.
- Process warranty claims accurately and efficiently, adhering to company policies and procedures
- Communicate with customers via phone, email, and in-person to address warranty-related questions and concerns
- Analyze warranty claims to determine validity and appropriate resolution
- Collaborate with internal departments to resolve complex warranty issues
- Maintain accurate records of all warranty transactions and customer interactions
- Generate reports on warranty claim trends and patterns
- Assist in identifying areas for improvement in the warranty process
- Stay up-to-date with warranty policies, product information, and industry standards
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate's degree in Business Administration or related field preferred
- 1-2 years of experience in customer service or warranty processing
- Strong verbal and written communication skills in English and Spanish
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and ability to learn warranty management systems quickly
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage time effectively
- Knowledge of warranty policies and procedures
- Understanding of automotive or consumer electronics industries preferred
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
