What You Will Do

The Lab Inventory Specialist will work on the Engineering Lab team that is part of the Unitary Products Group (UPG) for Bosch. In this division we design, test, manufacture and assemble heating, ventilation and air conditioning equipment for the light commercial and residential markets. This is an opportunity to work in our new, state-of-the-art laboratory!

How You Will Do It

  • Manage lab inventory of finished goods.
  • Assign lab identification numbers to all test units.
  • Develop new lab processes for improved efficiency.
  • Coordinate shipments of finished goods and parts to/from the test lab.
  • Manage lab compressor inventory.
  • Follow established safety procedures and help drive a safety culture in the lab.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Required Qualifications

What we look for:

  • 2-year degree, HVAC license, or equivalent combination of education and experience (1+ year of minimum professional experience)
  • Ability to lift equipment, compressors, motors, sheet metal parts etc.
  • Experience working in a project group or team.
  • Basic proficiency with Microsoft Suite Applications (Word, Excel, Access, Power Point)
  • SAP experience. (desired)
  • Knowledge of HVAC systems. (desired)
  • Forklift operation certification/experience (desired)
