Job Description

We are looking for an experienced and highly skilled Human Resources Business Partner to join our team at our manufacturing facility in Wichita, Kansas.  In this role, you will serve as a partner to our Production and Production support teams, aligning HR initiatives with business objectives and driving organizational success.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with leadership to develop and implement HR strategies that support business goals
  • Actively engage with employees on the production floor throughout all shifts, providing guidance, support, and real-time feedback to ensure safety, quality, and operational efficiency.
  • Support talent management initiatives, including performance management, succession planning, and employee development
  • Analyze HR metrics and data to identify trends and make data-driven recommendations
  • Manage employee relations issues and conduct investigations when necessary
  • Develop and implement HR programs to enhance employee engagement and retention
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations
  • Assist with and facilitate organizational change management initiatives
  • Conduct training sessions on various HR topics for managers and employees

Qualifications

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field
  • 2+ years of HR experience
  • Experience in HRIS and HR analytics tools
  • Experience working with Unions

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build relationships at all levels of the organization
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
  • Conflict resolution and mediation skills
  • Project management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities
  • Understanding of HR best practices and industry trends
