Job Description
As an HVAC Inside Salesperson, you will develop an in-depth knowledge of HVAC equipment becoming a product specialist. With support from our staff, you will be accountable for supporting our house accounts and Account Managers, assisting in product selection and offering cost and energy savings alternatives. You will also learn to perform job take-offs, proper system match ups, and heat loss / gain calculations.
The focus is to grow HVAC sales particularly within the design build market channel.
Job Responsibilities
- You will develop an in depth understanding of our York, Guardian & Hitachi product offerings.
- Supporting internal and external customers with, quoting for residential and commercial HVAC equipment and supplies.
- Superior product selection capabilities with the ability to offer alternative solutions to save energy and cost for our customers.
- Proactive calls to customer base to drive sales and increase margins.
- Order entry and shipment tracking where necessary.
- Post-sale support as required.
- Facilitate product returns and train customers on warranty processing.
- Other duties as directed.
Qualifications
Required Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- 5+ years of HVAC experience
- 5+ years of customer service experience
- Experience supporting the sales team
Preferred Qualifications:
- Proficiency in Windows and Microsoft Office software.
- Strong interpersonal, customer relationship and decision-making skills.
- Effective and professional communication and organization skills.
- Strong analytical skills and a positive human relations orientation.
- Proficient in utilizing the AHRI Directory
- Well versed in use of Heat Loss Heat Gain software.
