YORK Factory Direct is a direct-to-contractor program from YORK, a leading HVAC manufacturer since 1874, that provides heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) products, parts, and supplies for both residential and commercial needs. It offers technical support, fast delivery, marketing assistance, and access to a wide range of products including ducted, ductless, and VRF systems, as well as chillers and air systems. This program allows contractors to get products and support directly from the manufacturer. 

We are seeking a friendly and efficient Counter Sales/Warehouse Associate to join our team in West Palm Beach, United States. In this dynamic role, you will be responsible for providing excellent customer service at the sales counter while also assisting with warehouse operations.

• Greet customers and assist them with product selection, inquiries, and purchases
• Operate the Point of Sale (POS) system to process transactions accurately
• Maintain a clean and organized sales counter and warehouse area
• Receive, unload, and store incoming inventory
• Pick, pack, and prepare customer orders for shipment or pickup
• Conduct regular inventory counts and reconciliations
• Assist with loading and unloading delivery vehicles
• Operate warehouse equipment, including forklifts (if certified)
• Ensure compliance with safety procedures and company policies
• Collaborate with team members to maintain an efficient work environment

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Excellent customer service skills with a friendly and professional demeanor
• Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities
• Basic math and computer skills
• Proficiency in operating Point of Sale (POS) systems
• Physical stamina to lift and move items up to 50 pounds regularly
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask effectively
• 1-2 years of experience in retail or warehouse environment preferred
• Forklift certification and experience preferred
• Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays as needed
