About the role

Are you ready to support the delivery of reliable meters for Bluecurrent customers? We have an exciting opportunity for a Meter Maintenance Specialist to oversee the maintenance and troubleshooting of our metering systems. In this role, you will help solve challenges, investigate discrepancies, and collaborate with stakeholders.
Key responsibilities include:
- Handle investigations and complaints related to retro meters, orphaned meters, non-communicating meters and cross metering incidents, ensuring that all procedures are followed, and issues are resolved in a timely manner.
- Provide professional and timely responses to customers, ensuring that their concerns are fully resolved.
- Maintain accurate records of investigations, resolutions, and customer interactions related to meter issues.
- Prepare regular reports on metering performance, trends, and ongoing investigations for management review.
- Identify and suggest improvements to metering processes, tools, and technologies to enhance operational efficiency.
Who we are looking for
To be successful in this role, you will ideally bring:
- A Strong understanding of metering systems, including communication protocols, meter functionality, and technical troubleshooting.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to investigate complex metering issues and develop effective solutions.
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail when managing investigations, ensuring that all data and records are correct and up to date.
- Ability to handle customer complaints professionally and empathetically, ensuring that issues are resolved.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills to effectively document investigations, report on findings, and interact with customers and internal teams.
