ASC Profiles services various segments of the steel construction industry through its three divisions, AEP Span, ASC Steel Deck and ASC Building Products.
Job Description
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Project Manager to join our team and lead projects within our IT and Manufacturing Excellence teams. This Project Manager will plan and coordinate all aspects of internal information system-specific projects from initiation to delivery; they will be responsible for the management and the day-to-day operational and tactical aspects of multiple enterprise wide projects.
Develop, manage, and track progress for detailed project plans and manage all implementation processes including resource allocation, progress tracking, monitoring change control process, testing, documentation, training, and on-time delivery within budget constraints.
Projects often involve network, server, or software implementation and upgrades. The Project Manager will coordinate work performed by internal and external IT staff and internal customers/partners.
The preferred location of this position is Kalama, WA with the alternative option across the West Coast region.
What you will do:
- Communicate clearly to stakeholders and customers both in writing and verbally specific test results, customer feedback, and any appropriate actions suggested
- Provide technical support to internal and external customers
- Mentor the continual development of others within the given project or department
- Lead and advise others regarding quality control for specific projects or applications as assigned by management
- Develop internal and external customer relationships that result in quality project deliveries
- Lead and/or participate in training efforts for assigned projects
- Proactively seek learning opportunities and stay current on new skills to bring benefit to the local program office and to projects.
Qualifications
What you will bring:
Minimum:
- Bachelor’s degree in Project Management or related field or 4 years of additional experience in lieu of degree
- 5 years of project management experience with a focus on technology projects
- 5 years within an agile framework
- PMP certification
Preferred:
- 8 years of IT Project Management experience
- Manufacturing industry experience
Pay Range:
- $114,000- $171,500 annually determined by pay equity and location of selected candidate
Relocation: Relocation assistance may be available
Travel: some travel to other site locations may be required (20%)
