The Opportunity

Orrcon Steel Manufacturing is looking for a Shift Supervisor (Logistics) to join the Logistics Team based in Salisbury. Orrcon Steel Manufacturing is a leading Australian supplier of steel and aluminium products, offering a comprehensive range engineered to meet the demands of diverse industries. In this hands-on leadership role, you will guide and empower a team of logistics operators. This opportunity is perfect for a leader who does more than just supervise; you will be the driving force behind team cohesiveness, ensuring your team is aligned, motivated, supported and performing. 

Enjoy a stable day shift, Monday to Friday, 6:00am – 3:00pm. We offer an attractive salary package plus an annual profit-share program (bonus). What Will You Do?

With a strong focus on teamwork, you will be:

• providing clear direction and oversight to ensure all daily warehouse functions run smoothly
• working closely with your team to manage daily operations, ensuring they have the guidance needed to meet workload demands
• identifying practical ways to improve performance and mitigate risks, with a consistent focus on achieving on-time delivery for our customers
• ensuring our safety protocols evolve by championing necessary changes whenever new risks or opportunities are identified
• actively developing the team’s technical capabilities to help them progress and master their roles
