The Opportunity

Come and discover the opportunity to join our Design Solutions Group team in our BlueScope Building Components business as a Structural Manager - Queensland. BlueScope Building Components, a division of BlueScope in Australia, manufactures and markets steel building products, solutions and services through its four leading brands: Lysaght, Fielders, Ranbuild and Kiteleys.

Our team provide engineering expertise to our clients and our internal team. They undertake a variety of tasks on both large and small projects that include working on structural engineering designs, providing advice, championing new products in the market and driving new business opportunities.

They are actively involved in promoting and selling engineering services and BlueScope products to engineers, builders and developers.

What Will You Do?

As someone with design experience and a strong knowledge of large-scale construction projects, you'll:

• provide engineering support to develop solutions that promote our products in large scale construction projects 
• identify projects and contribute to our pipeline of new work in a sales and consulting capacity
• identify opportunities for new product solutions including testing your designs in our NATA registered laboratory
• attend events to expand your industry knowledge and professional network.

• a degree qualified Structural Engineer who has the technical ability to provide solutions and recommendations to a diverse stakeholder group
• a superior influencer with technical sales skills with and strong relationship management skills
• able to translate key customer requirements into improved product and service offerings; and
