About This Role

Manages and ensures a timely and accurate execution of all GMP warehouse activities. Receives goods and enter them into Oracle (OPM), supports preparation of goods for manufacturing (order picking) and ships finished goods, raw materials, and samples out from the site.

Responsible for generic and non GMP receipts and shipments.

What You’ll Do

  • Receives all GMP items on an electronic inventory system, verifies count, vendor item, number and expiration date against item specification and purchase order prior to printing the bar code label. Prepares GMP requests including but not limited to QC sampling requests for sampling/testing and performs after sampling activity transactions. 

  • Pulls, packs, and ships finished products to the customer according to applicable SOP’s. Prepares shipments (including but not limited to binding, stretching, picking, operating powered industrial Trucks safely) on a daily base and performs all related ERP transactions according to standard operating procedures and compliance guidelines. Prepares bill of landings and other shipping documents and supports the Senior Coordinator in organizing shipments to and out from SOL. Supports Logistics department for the Pick-up organization by creating MFGs for the specific shipment lanes.

  • Collaborates with Solothurn cross-functional teams including but not limited to, Quality Sample Control, Biogen Logistics, Global Trade Management Team (GTM), Materials Planning for supporting the coordination of all outbound SOL sample control, raw material, Drug Substance, Drug Product, cell bank shipments.

  • Creates GTM documentation and invoices for Drug substance shipments to Eisai partners.

  • Ensures all departmental applicable training and required GXP trainings are 100% complete. Remains current on DOT and Hazmat regulations.

  • Support of goods preparation for manufacturing & first level support of the related automation systems (including but not limited to AGVs, Swisslog Systems).

  • Receives and process Drug Substance from MFG per procedures with particular attention on the reconciliation.

  • Remains current on IATA/ADR/IMDG regulatory.

  • Ensures high safety standard by maintaining cleanliness and orderly storage condition in the warehouse and performing daily safety checks and reporting near misses, Hazard ID’s and Incidents in the EHS notification systems.

Who You Are

You bring a minimum of 2 years of related industry experience, specifically in warehouse operations. With a high impact approach, you excel in troubleshooting and responding to challenges. Whether working independently or collaboratively, you ensure materials management and warehouse shipments are developed to allow uninterrupted shipments, depending on materials being quality-released in a timely manner.

 

Qualifications

  • Minimum 3 years of GMP experience.

  • Minimum High School Diploma, Apprenticeship, or Bachelor’s Degree.
  • Competency in an ERP system related to warehouse operations.
  • Safety, GMP, and Quality mindset, acting as an expert in ensuring compliance.
  • ADR/IATA license
  • Forklift License
