About This Role 
As a Sr Analyst, Clinical Contract Negotiations, you will focus on negotiating the language for clinical contracts primarily in North America. You will provide strategic global study level support to ensure a best-in-class approach to site contract management for Phase I – IV clinical trials and scientific research collaborations. 
Reporting to a Senior Program Contract Manager, you will be introduced to the overall start-up structure and exposed you to various areas of global clinical research.

What You’ll Do 

• Negotiate language for Clinical Trial Agreements (CTAs) directly with sites 
• Serve as a point of contact for 3rd party CTA negotiators
• Review CTA negotiation timelines with CRO partner(s) to ensure site activation deadlines are met
• Provide site budget-related feedback where appropriate 
• May negotiate Master Clinical Trial Agreements (mCTAs)

Required Skills 

• Bachelors degree required
• 4+ years’ experience in the biotechnology/pharmaceutical industry within the site contracting space
• Strong understanding of clinical CTA language (e.g. indemnification/confidentiality/CDAs/CTA execution/working in data privacy/insurance) 
• Excellent negotiation skills, conflict resolution, decision making skills, oral/written communication skills and presentation skills 
• Strong organizational skills, including the ability to prioritize needs and handle a high volume of tasks within a given timeframe
• Proficient in Clinical Operations with a thorough understanding of GCP, relevant ICH standards, and FDA/EMA guidelines

The base compensation range for this role is $84,100 to $126,100. Base salary  is determined by a combination of factors including, but not limited to, job related years of relevant experience, internal equity, and location of the job. Additionally, this role is eligible for participation in Biogen’s LTI grants and other incentive programs.
