This internship role is part of the Limitless @ Biogen program; the summer internship for neurodiverse college students. ‘Neurodiversity’ includes neurological differences such as autism spectrum, ADHD and dyslexia. Applicants will not be asked for documentation or proof of neurodiversity, unless requesting ADA accommodation. Limitless @ Biogen provides support for managers and interns throughout the 12-week summer internship.

Job Description

This application is for a remote 12-week internship role from June - August 2022.

Biogen’s Product & Technology Development (PTD) organization, in close collaboration with the Pharmaceutical Operations & Technology (PO&T) Human Resources team, is seeking a motivated and enthusiastic individual to join its team as a summer intern.

Position Description

This individual will report to the Chief of Staff of PTD, helping to support various business operations activities, including HR, communications, and data analytics activities.  He/She may have visibility to the following:

  • Data Analytics and reporting; metrics and dashboarding
  • Create business process maps
  • Assist local HR Partners and leadership team with ad hoc projects such as onboarding tasks and position management
  • Prepare presentations for different levels of management 
  • Create a calendar of events and gather data regarding career fairs/ university job fairs/conferences/publications
  • Social media strategy development and execution
  • Assist with preparation of meetings and presentations such as new employee information sessions and department townhalls

To participate in the Biogen Internship Program, students must meet the following eligibility criteria:

  • Legal authorization to work in the U.S.
  • At least 18 years of age prior to the scheduled start date
  • Be currently enrolled in an accredited college or university

Education

Undergraduate student studying the following:

  • Human Resources, Business Management, Sociology, Legal, Communications, Philosophy or related majors.
