About the role

The Digital Solutions Architect(DSA) will be part of the Digital CoE engineering team that is currently working on the BiogenLinc project.

Their main responsibility will be to own the architectural aspect of the BiogenLinc platform from defining the best way to build new functionalities, suggesting improvement of the current setup and making sure we provide a safe, compliant and performant platform that can integrate with all the 3rd party solutions it has to communicate with inside the Biogen network.

In this position the DSA will second the Digital Engineering Lead in all the discussions with the local market managers regarding new and upcoming development. You will be working closely with the Product team to provide technical support for the definition of upcoming features and functionalities. The DSA will also be working closely with the engineering team on daily basis to support on solving the engineering challenges that the team faces on regular basis. You will also write code and conduct code reviews when needed.

Who you are

You will have gained a solid knowledge of cloud native solution design and development. You have gained in past roles knowledge building solutions based on content management systems, experience working with Contentful CMS is preferred. Solid experience building micro-service-oriented solutions. Advanced documentation skills. You are details oriented and hold excellent problem-solving skills. You are very good and strong communication skills and previous experience building multi-market, multi-language platforms.

What you’ll do

• You own the software architecture of the BiogenLinc platform, and define the software architecture and infrastructure for all upcoming changes and new requirement on the BiogenLinc platform.
• You will be building and keeping up to date all the technical documentation of the BiogenLinc platform
• You will be working closely with the extended BiogenLinc project team(User Experience, Product, Operation and Content) to prepare the new functionalities and improvements.
• Be the Subject matter expert for all topics related to the technical capabilities of the BiogenLinc platform, and provide support and assistance during the early investigation phases as well as continuous improvement efforts.

• Education: B.E/M.E/MS in Computer Science or a related field
• A previous experience acting  at least 2 years as a solution architect
• At least 4  years of experience as a full-stack developer.
• Preferred skills in prior experience building cloud native solutions on AWS, working with for example GitHub, CI/CD, Reactjs, NextJS, GraphQL and Apollo(Server & client), NoSQL databases (preferably MongoDB Atlas).
• Languages: English mandatory another European language strongly desired
