Job Description

This Parental Leave contract provides expert P&C advice and practical support to leaders and employees, ensuring people-related matters are managed effectively, consistently and in line with legislative and policy requirements. Combining strong P&C expertise, business acumen and a proactive approach to managing business risk, operational efficiency and compliance, this role supports employee engagement, organisational effectiveness and the achievement of business goals. 

The Part You’ll Play  
In this role you will sit as a member of our team of 6 HR professionals located around the country and in the Philippines. We are passionate and bring diverse experience. Day-to-Day you will: 

  • Advise: You will provide knowledgeable advice on operational issues and complex people problems, managing these in a way that is people-centred and manages risk to the business. 
  • Coordinate: You will be our go-to face of the team to the wider business acting as first touchpoint for HR queries and incoming communication. 
  • Build: You will play a big part in helping us optimise processes within our new system and deliver quarterly projects, ensuring our ways of working are efficient, consistent and easy for the business to use. 
  • Report: You will support regular reporting and insights, helping the business use people data to understand trends, inform decisions and improve how we work. 
  • Support: You will support junior team members by sharing knowledge, providing guidance and helping build confidence in day-to-day P&C work. 
  • Collaborate: You will work effectively with stakeholders from teams such as Payroll, Compliance and Talent to ensure our key processes run smoothly.

Qualifications

About You  
You will bring 4+ years within a P&C Generalist or Advisory position.  

You will be comfortable working through complex people problems, balancing care and empathy for individuals with sound judgement and risk awareness for the business.

You will be confident working with data, including strong Excel competency and the ability to analyse and present people data in a clear, practical way to support leaders in making informed decisions.

You will bring a highly organised and efficient approach, with the initiative and attention to detail needed to work well in a fast-paced environment. You will also have a keen understanding of how to optimise and define effective operational HR processes, alongside the ability to support and empower clinical leaders.

Experience within a people-services orientated business or NDIS will also be well regarded. 
 
You will also bring: 

  • An NDIS check, Working with Children Check, and Police Check (or willingness to obtain)  
  • Employment Eligibility within Australia. 
  • Relevant qualifications in Human Resources will be essential for this role. 
  • Understanding of how to operate end-to-end employee compliance frameworks will be highly desirable.
