This role suits someone who is reliable, compassionate, confident working with people, and motivated to help clients practise the activities and strategies that support their rehabilitation goals.

Who we are | Ko wai mātou
Better Days provides community-centred support services for people living with injury or disability. We are a national, clinician-led company founded on a simple vision: better outcomes for clients and a better place to work for the people who support them.
We are looking for someone who lives our values and wants to make a genuine impact. If you have a passion for helping people build independence, confidence, and quality of life, this could be the role for you.
What is a Therapy Assistant / Rehab Coach?
As a Therapy Assistant / Rehab Coach, you support clients to practise the rehabilitation activities and strategies recommended by their clinical team. You are not expected to assess, diagnose, or design rehabilitation programmes. Instead, you help put clinician-led rehabilitation plans into action.
This could include supporting someone to practise mobility, daily routines, therapeutic exercises, communication strategies, community access, school or study-related goals, work-readiness activities, or other functional tasks that help them return to the things that matter to them.
Why join Better Days?
• Make a visible difference in people's everyday lives, confidence, independence, and participation.
• Join a national, clinician-led company that understands community rehabilitation.
• Be supported by experienced Physiotherapists, Occupational Therapists, Speech-Language Therapists, Psychologists, and other allied health professionals.
• Enjoy flexible full-time or part-time working options.
• Earn an attractive hourly rate plus travel reimbursement.
• Work from our Ellerslie base while supporting clients across Auckland.
• Build practical rehabilitation skills across home, school, workplace, university, and community settings.
• Access supervision, training, and professional development opportunities.
• Join a values-led team that genuinely cares about clients, whānau, and each other.
