Job Description

About your new role 

As our Internal Communications Manager, you will design and deliver clear, engaging communication that helps employees understand and adopt new policies, processes, and organisational changes. You will support leaders with practical communication tools, manage internal channels, and ensure messaging is consistent, accessible, and aligned across the organisation.

In this role, you will:

  • Lead communication strategies for policy, process, and organisational changes
  • Translate complex information into clear, practical messaging
  • Develop structured communication plans that support understanding and adoption
  • Create leader‑ready toolkits including talking points, FAQs, and briefing packs
  • Advise supervisors on how to communicate change effectively
  • Manage internal communication channels including intranet, email, campaigns, and forums
  • Re‑establish and manage the internal podcast as a key engagement channel
  • Ensure content is consistent, accessible, and tailored to diverse audiences
  • Coordinate messaging across teams to reduce duplication and noise
  • Partner with People & Culture, Learning & Capability, and operational leaders on change initiatives

Qualifications

About you 

You are passionate about making a difference and bring strong communication capability to a fast‑paced, growing organisation.
You will have:

  • 3–5+ years’ experience in internal communications, organisational change, or employee engagement
  • Strong writing and editing skills, with the ability to simplify complex information
  • Experience creating leader‑focused communication tools (talking points, FAQs, toolkits)
  • Confidence managing multiple communication channels and campaigns
  • A solid understanding of employee engagement and internal branding
  • Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills
  • High attention to detail and excellent organisation
  • A practical, execution‑focused mindset
  • Comfort navigating ambiguity and change

Qualifications & Checks:

  • Relevant tertiary qualification (Communications, Marketing, HR, Organisational Change or similar preferred)
  • Current driver’s licence
  • NDIS Worker Check, Working with Children Check, National Police Check (held or willing to obtain)
