Company Description
Barrière Collection is seeking a Director of Global Sales - North America to lead the continued expansion of the brand across the United States, Canada and Mexico. Reporting to the Director of International Global Sales, this role is responsible for driving revenue, developing strategic partnerships, and expanding brand awareness across key market segments.
This role is open to:
Candidates already working in global or multi-property sales roles.
Experience selling multiple properties or complex portfolios is strongly preferred. The successful candidate will demonstrate both strategic thinking and hands-on sales execution, with the ability to represent Barrière Collection across diverse markets and audiences.
Preference is given to candidates with a strong luxury leisure expertise who are motivated to develop group and MICE knowledge.
Job Description
Key Responsibilities
Create and expand brand presence and awareness for Barrière Collection (all segments) in North America, Canada and Mexico;
Manage key accounts within USA, Canada & Mexico - major focus on luxury leisure consortia agencies;
Manage corporate & group accounts in North America;
Regular individual sales trips in the US, Canada & Mexico, promoting Barrière Group and attend industry tradeshows & partners meetings;
Participate and organize roadshows, sales calls for Barrière Hotels traveling to North America;
Create meaningful and strategic partnerships with US brands and agencies for Barrière Collection;
Identify new accounts and business opportunities for Barrière Group;
Assist with annual budget process and monthly tracking;
Create and develop a strategy to meet & exceed budget expectations, grow ADR from the designated markets;
Oversee marketing presence among all segments partners for Barrière Collection.
Qualifications
Required Qualifications
Degree in hospitality management or similar/applicable discipline required;
A proven hotel sales experience;
Advanced knowledge of hotels and competitive market;
Capacity to manage various projects and work to tight deadlines;
Excellent negotiation and leadership skills;
Outstanding written and verbal communication skills;
Must be able to maintain the confidentiality of information.
✈️ Frequent travel required (U.S., Canada, Mexico occasional international).

Base salary: Salary Range $170,000 - $180,000 + attractive incentive plan.
