Job Description

his is a hands-on workshop role focused on assembling engines and mechanical components in a structured team environment.

You'll work with quality products, experienced colleagues and modern workshop processes, without the pressures of field service or breakdown work.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assemble and fit engines and mechanical components
  • Perform mechanical adjustments and minor repairs
  • Inspect parts and components for faults, wear and damage
  • Support workshop operations and stock handling activities
  • Assist with loading and unloading as required
  • Maintain a clean, organised and safe work environment
  • Follow all workplace health and safety procedures

Qualifications

About You

You may be a qualified Diesel Mechanic, Light Vehicle Mechanic, Mechanical Fitter or a 3rd or 4th Year Apprentice looking for a role that offers greater stability and work-life balance.

To be successful, you'll have:

  • Trade qualification in a mechanical discipline, or be a 3rd or 4th Year Apprentice
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and fault-finding ability
  • Experience working with engines, mechanical components or workshop equipment
  • Attention to detail and pride in quality workmanship
  • A reliable, safety-focused approach
  • The ability to work independently and as part of a team
