Job Description
his is a hands-on workshop role focused on assembling engines and mechanical components in a structured team environment.
You'll work with quality products, experienced colleagues and modern workshop processes, without the pressures of field service or breakdown work.
Key Responsibilities
- Assemble and fit engines and mechanical components
- Perform mechanical adjustments and minor repairs
- Inspect parts and components for faults, wear and damage
- Support workshop operations and stock handling activities
- Assist with loading and unloading as required
- Maintain a clean, organised and safe work environment
- Follow all workplace health and safety procedures
Qualifications
About You
You may be a qualified Diesel Mechanic, Light Vehicle Mechanic, Mechanical Fitter or a 3rd or 4th Year Apprentice looking for a role that offers greater stability and work-life balance.
To be successful, you'll have:
- Trade qualification in a mechanical discipline, or be a 3rd or 4th Year Apprentice
- Strong mechanical aptitude and fault-finding ability
- Experience working with engines, mechanical components or workshop equipment
- Attention to detail and pride in quality workmanship
- A reliable, safety-focused approach
- The ability to work independently and as part of a team
