Job Description
Join our team as a Driver in Shepparton, Australia! We're looking for a reliable, enthusiastic, and safety-conscious driver to become an integral part of our dynamic transportation team. As a Driver, you'll play a crucial role in representing our organization while ensuring timely and secure delivery of goods. Operate vehicles safely and efficiently while adhering to all traffic laws and company safety protocols
Plan and execute optimal routes to ensure timely deliveries and pickups
Maintain accurate records of deliveries, mileage, fuel consumption, and vehicle condition
Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections and report any maintenance issues promptly
Provide exceptional customer service during all customer interactions and deliveries
Load and unload cargo safely and securely, ensuring proper organization and protection of goods
Communicate effectively with dispatch, management, and customers regarding delivery status and any concerns
Maintain a clean and professional appearance and vehicle at all times
Comply with all company policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements
Contribute to a collaborative team environment and support colleagues when needed
Qualifications
Valid driver's license appropriate for the vehicle class being operated
Clean driving record with no major traffic violations or accidents
Proven experience as a driver or in a similar transportation role
Strong knowledge of traffic laws, safety regulations, and vehicle maintenance basics
Excellent time management and organizational skills
Proficiency with GPS navigation systems and route planning tools
Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team
Physical capability to load, unload, and handle cargo safely
Flexibility to adapt to changing schedules and delivery demands
Customer service orientation with a commitment to professional representation
Reliability and punctuality in meeting delivery commitments
Familiarity with the Shepparton region is a plus
