Job Description
We’re looking for a Finance Manager to lead financial accounting and reporting within our trade division.
Reporting to the GM Commercial – Trade, you’ll play a critical role in ensuring strong financial governance, delivering accurate reporting, and partnering with the Commercial team to drive performance and growth.
This is a high-impact leadership role with the opportunity to influence business decisions in a fast-paced, multi-site environment.
What You will do:
- Lead all accounting activities for the Trade segment, ensuring accuracy, compliance and strong financial controls
- Deliver a timely and accurate month-end close in line with Group reporting requirements
- Own balance sheet integrity, including reconciliations and risk management
- Prepare and deliver monthly reporting packs, including P&L analysis and regional performance insights
- Partner with Regional Managers and the Commercial team to review performance and support decision-making
- Support budgeting, forecasting and financial planning activities
- Ensure accurate tax reporting inputs (GST & FBT) and support audits and statutory reporting requirements
- Drive process improvements, optimise systems and enhance efficiency across finance operations
Qualifications
- CA/CPA qualified with a relevant degree
- 5+ years’ experience in financial/management accounting
- Proven leadership experience
- Strong analytical, systems and Excel capability
- Proactive, detail-oriented and commercially minded
