Join one of Canada's largest and most complex transit infrastructure projects.
We are seeking a Risk Analyst to support the Delivery Partner team on the Metrolinx Ontario Line a major transit expansion that will transform connectivity across Toronto. This role is part of Bantrel’s Infrastructure team, contributing to the delivery of a high-profile, multi-year program.
The Risk Analyst will support the identification, tracking, and reporting of project risks across a complex, multidisciplinary environment.
Location: Downtown Toronto (5 days/week in office)
Salary Range: $100,000 – $125,000
Bantrel is part of the Delivery Partner team supporting Metrolinx on the Ontario Line. The program will improve transit capacity, reduce travel times, and support long-term growth across the Greater Toronto Area. Bantrel provides engineering, procurement, and construction management expertise to support safe and efficient project delivery.

Key Responsibilities
- Maintain and administer project risk and issues registers using approved tools
- Support risk owners in identifying, documenting, and updating risks and mitigation plans
- Coordinate and support risk workshops, reviews, and identification sessions
- Track key risks, critical items, and emerging issues, ensuring timely escalation
- Review contractor and stakeholder inputs to identify new or evolving risks
- Support the development and ongoing update of mitigation and action plans
- Ensure accuracy and consistency of risk data and reporting timelines
- Assist in preparing risk reports, dashboards, and summaries for stakeholders
- Support periodic risk assessments and follow up on mitigation actions
- Contribute to quantitative risk assessments (QCRA/QSRA)
- Interface with multidisciplinary project teams to support risk activities
Qualifications
- Degree in engineering, construction management, business, or a related field
- ~5 years of experience in project controls, risk management, or a related function within infrastructure, construction, or EPC/EPCM environments
- Experience supporting risk activities on large, complex projects is preferred
- Familiarity with risk tools/systems
- Strong Excel skills; Power BI or Power Apps experience is an asset
- Strong attention to detail and data accuracy
- Effective communication skills and stakeholder engagement ability
- Self-sufficient, with ability to work within a broader project team
- Comfortable in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment

Base Annual Salary: $100,000 to $125,000 CAD per year (Bantrel provides a competitive compensation package that reflects the skills, qualifications, and experience relevant to the role. The figures shared represent base salary only and do not include other elements of the Total Rewards offering. Final compensation will be determined based on the successful candidate’s experience and alignment with the role requirements.)
