Job Description

Join Our Dynamic Team as a Growth Account Executive! 🌟 

A Growth Executive at Babble is responsible for the growth of Babble’s business with each of their customers across their allocated account base. This role entails developing, strengthening, and growing our existing relationships with Babble’s SMB customers, ensuring their success through the application of cloud-based technologies. You will function as their most Trusted Advisor, and in so doing, develop a deep knowledge of the customers business and its strategy.

Collaborating with colleagues in specialist roles such as Customer Experience, Customer Success, Solution Architecture and Product/Solution Sales Specialists, you will achieve this by:

  • Helping customers understand, invest in, and unlock the value of cloud-based technologies that will help them better achieve their business goals.
  • Providing customers with an efficient and cost-effective source of valued and relevant technologies and services.
  • Providing an expert level of customer service to ensure a positive customer experience across all aspects of the customer’s journey.

 

Key Responsibilities

Account Growth and Customer Engagement

  • Drive revenue growth and profitability across assigned Babble Growth accounts.
  • Serve as the primary sales contact for your portfolio of SMB customers across UKI markets.
  • Regularly assess and validate customer requirements and goals to support retention and long-term success.
  • Lead cross-functional initiatives to increase customer wallet share through strategic cross-pillar sales.

 

Client Engagement and Relationship Management

  • Build strong, consistent client relationships to proactively identify and deliver value-driven solutions aligned with customer objectives.
  • Collaborate with customer stakeholders, internal teams, and vendor partners to ensure seamless execution and delivery of solutions.

 

Campaign Execution and Account Expansion

  • Execute targeted campaigns to uncover new opportunities within existing accounts.
  • Leverage marketing signals and customer intent data to drive cross-solution sales and reduce churn risk.

 

Sales Collaboration and Coordination

  • Coordinate with Babble colleagues across Management, CX, Customer Success, Solution Architecture, and Product/Solution Specialists to achieve customer satisfaction, retention, and sales performance goals.

 

Core Competencies:

  • A sound work ethic with a motivation to succeed and a strong team player.
  • Superior communication skills (both written and oral) and comfortable presenting and speaking to senior-level executives.
  • Outstanding organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple moving parts and accounts simultaneously.
  • A key interest to understand current and emerging technology trends and their application to client business goals.
  • Ability to develop strong, long-lasting relationships (both internal and external).
  • Action orientated, showing resourcefulness to achieve results.
  • Proficiency using Microsoft Office tools and CRM platforms such as HubSpot, Sales Force, etc.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 12 months experience in account management.
  • A passion for technology and software sales.1-2 years of customer facing experience (preferrable).

Additional Information

Commission: Commission is based on the following key success metrics:

  • Achievement of sustainable net gross profit margin.
  • Account retention, preventing customer churn.
  • Achieving product whitespace goals within existing accounts
