Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Subscription Manager to oversee and optimize the tools and services that power our business operations. This role involves managing vendor relationships, negotiating contracts, identifying new tools to enhance efficiency, and implementing policies to streamline processes. As the point of contact for all vendor-related matters, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the effective use of services while driving cost efficiencies and supporting company growth.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage the company’s portfolio of tools and outsourced services, serving as the primary liaison with vendors.
Negotiate contracts and pricing with vendors to secure cost savings and added value.
Develop and implement robust policies for tool and service management.
Conduct market research to identify and recommend new tools and services that align with company objectives.
Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless integration and utilization of tools and services.
Administer licenses and accesses, including issuance, reassignment, cancellation, and record keeping.
Manage license purchasing and assignment processes.
Support onboarding and offboarding by coordinating service access and license provisioning.
Oversee and maintain the access request process in Jira (or other systems).
Monitor and manage the budget for tools and services, identify areas for optimization, and provide actionable recommendations.
Continuously assess and improve procurement and vendor management processes to support evolving business needs.
Qualifications
3-5 years of experience in subscription or vendor management, ideally within the financial, technology, or a related industry.
Strong analytical skills with advanced proficiency in spreadsheets (e.g., Excel, Google Sheets).
Experience with Jira and skills in budget management and planning is highly desirable.
Proven negotiation skills with the ability to secure favorable terms and discounts.
Excellent English communication skills, both written and verbal.
Highly detail-oriented with a track record of developing and enforcing effective policies.
A collaborative mindset with the ability to work across teams and assist colleagues as needed.
