About the Role
We are on the hunt for an experienced Senior Quantitative Trader with a knack for algorithmic trading and arbitrage strategies in the cryptocurrency markets. If you have a proven track record of success in non-directional trading and maintaining a positive P&L, this role is for you. The perfect candidate will have extensive experience working with centralized exchanges and a passion for pushing the boundaries of crypto trading.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute trading strategies that involve identifying and capitalizing on market inefficiencies through algorithmic strategies, including MFT and HFT approaches;
- Execute algorithmic trades across multiple centralized exchanges;
- Monitor and analyze trading performance, ensuring a consistent positive PnL;
- Collaborate with the team to enhance trading algorithms and optimize execution;
- Stay updated on market trends, exchange developments, and regulatory changes.
Qualifications
- Demonstrable success (5+ years) in quantitative trading with a non-directional focus, specifically in the cryptocurrency markets;
- Extensive experience in designing and executing complex HFT/MFT strategies;
- Consistent record of profitable trading;
- Prior experience trading on centralized exchanges is essential;
- Experience in HFT or MFT on an intraday basis;
- Proven ability to manage and trade with a capital of at least $1 million;
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, C++, or similar;
- Advanced degree in Finance, Economics, Mathematics, Computer Science, or a related field;
- Strong analytical and quantitative skills;
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail;
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
