Job Description

In this role, you will take on a key position in further developing and shaping our evolving ServiceNow governance and platform landscape. Building on the existing framework and structures, you will actively contribute to enhancing processes, standards, and best practices to drive the platform’s continued maturity.

Your responsibilities include:

  • Designing and implementing ServiceNow CSM and ITSM capabilities across core modules
  • Developing flows, scripts, UI policies, IntegrationHub spokes, and upgrade‑safe customizations
  • Building and managing integrations with external providers, including SLAs/OLAs, contracts, and vendor coordination
  • Establishing and ensuring governance for release cycles, data models, error‑handling processes, and security boundaries
  • Applying security best practices and maintaining documentation required for compliance and audits
  • Working closely with Business Stakeholders to refine requirements and continuously enhance the platform
  • Driving platform adoption through demos, knowledge articles, training sessions, and insights from performance analytics

Qualifications

  • You hold a degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field
  • Several years of hands‑on experience in developing ServiceNow solutions within ITSM and ideally also in CSM environments have shaped your expertise
  • Communicating clearly, whether in documentation or in discussions with technical and non‑technical stakeholders, comes naturally to you
  • Certifications such as CSA, CIS‑ITSM, or CIS‑CSM are a strong plus
  • You work self-organized, analytical, and goal‑oriented in global virtual teams
  • Curiosity and the drive to continuously learn and adapt in a fast‑changing environment define your working style
  • You have strong English communication skills and beneficial German language skills that support effective collaboration in an international environment
