Job Description
If you join us, you will:
- Get to know modern controlling in a globally operating company. Your most important working tool will be SAP B1 and IDL
- Be responsible and support the preparation of local GAAP and IFRS statutory accounts
- Ensure timely and accurate delivery of financial statements/analysis report to the Group Controlling department as well as CoC controlling teams
- Ensure the smooth running of monthly and year-end reporting, as well as the annual plan and quarterly forecast based on project delivery status and business operation with good teamwork
- Take a proactive role in questioning processes in place within a view to continuous improvement
- Act as a liaison with different departments to ensure the commercial team is properly supporting the needs of the operating businesses
- Take project controlling responsibility, independently take over project controlling for global customer projects and work closely with the group companies involved, be responsible for intercompany reconciliation for all aspects
- be responsible for the budget change process over the project life cycle using the concurrent costing process
- prepare reports and financial analysis for the Board and the Group
- Be a virtual team member of Group Accounting and Controlling Team and work together with group controlling team with certain topics.
Qualifications
If you are open for working within international teams and have:
- a degree in economics, ideally with a focus on finance/controlling
- at least 5 years of in-depth, broad-based professional experience
- experience in managing a project team
- initial experience abroad, for example through a semester abroad or an internship, and are willing to go abroad for trainings and business trips
- a strong understanding of numbers
- an analytical and problem-solving approach to work, enjoy teamwork and are communicative
- very good knowledge in the common MS Office applications (esp. Excel)
- a high affinity for IT and enjoy working with ERP systems, ideally SAP B1
- a high interest in the business areas and processes of an industrial company
- very good English language skills
